Gill Bar-Yoseph, CEO
Gill
has been leading Nephera since it was founded in 2008.
Gill
has ten years of experience in various management positions in the medical field
including positions at Philips Medical Systems and as director of R&D
at Ophthalmic Imaging Systems (acquired by Merge Healthcare, NASDAQ: MRGE).
Gill
holds a B.Sc. in electrical engineering, M.E. in Biomedical engineering and
an MBA, all from the Technion - Israel Institute
of Technology.
David Bleicher, Director of
R&D and Operations
David
has over five years of experience in R&D project management in the
medical device industry including in the fields of Urology and Uro-Gynecology for IBI Israeli Biomedical Innovations.
David
holds a B.Sc. In Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and a
M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University.
Dr. Moran Meiron, Director of Scientific and Pre-Clinical Affairs
Prior
to joining Nephera Dr. Meiron served as Director
of research at Pluristem where she lead the
research and development of an innovative cell therapy product. Dr. Meiron holds a Ph.D in
immunology from the Technion - Israel Institute
of Technology. Dr. Meiron has published a number
of articles in peer review journals and filed a number of issued patents
and patent applications.

Dr. Dan Gelvan, Managing
Director of Life Sciences, Aurum Ventures M.K.I.
Dr. Dan Gelvan
is a seasoned life-science executive who before joining Aurum Ventures
managed GammaCan International, Inc., a
development-stage pharmaceutical company. Previously, Dr. Gelvan founded
and managed Zetiq Technologies, a drug discovery
company specializing in cell-based high-throughput screening for novel
anti-cancer drugs. Dr. Gelvan founded Zetiq after
leaving a senior position in Clal (Israel) Ltd.,
one of Israel's largest holding conglomerates. Dr. Gelvan holds a PhD in
Business Economics from RUC in Denmark, and a BA and MA in Economics from
the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Dan is an experienced lecturer of
corporate finance and entrepreneurship. Dr. Gelvan is a member of Israel's
National Committee for Biotechnology.
Dr. Ronit Bendori, General Partner, Evergreen
Venture Partners
Dr. Bendori
joined Evergreen in mid 2000 as a General
Partner. She focuses on Evergreen's investments in the Healthcare sector.
Prior to joining Evergreen, Dr. Bendori was
former Vice President of Pharmos Ltd. (NASDAQ:
PARS). Prior to that Dr. Bendori held senior
positions as an expert in technology transfer at InterPharm
Ltd. (Israel) and Ares-Serono (Switzerland). As
one of its most experienced figures, Dr. Bendori is
an active promoter of Israeli Healthcare industry. She was an adviser to
former Chief Scientists at the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade on
biotechnology issues. On behalf of the chief scientist she headed the
Monitor Survey of the Israeli Biotechnology. Currently, she is a member of
the advisory board of the Israeli Scientific American and on the advisory
board of the Center for Women's Health at Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem. Dr.
Bendori has taught Industrial Aspects of
Biotechnology in various institutions, including the Weizmann Institute of
Science. She has a Ph.D in molecular and cellular
biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Dr. Bendori
initiated and was responsible for Evergreen's investment in Colbar, which was sold to Johnson & Johnson for
$160M.
Steve Rhodes, CEO and Chairman, The Trendlines Group; Chairman, Mofet
Venture Accelerator
Steve began his career with the Chicago branch of Bank Leumi in 1979.
He
advanced through a number of financial marketing and lending positions
including director of marketing. Steve continued with Leumi
when he and his family moved to Israel in 1985. At Bank Leumi
in Israel, Steve rose to the position of deputy manager of the Bank's
International Division. In 1988, Steve joined SRD Medical as the company's
CFO, later becoming vice president of sales and marketing. He left the
company in 1993, founding Trendlines
International with Todd Dollinger. After serving
on the board of the Misgav incubator for many
years, Steve became the CEO in 2005, focusing, innovating, and leading Misgav to the level such that it received the
“Best Incubator” award from the Government of the State Israel
in 2010.
Today,
Steve shares the positions of Chairman and CEO of The Trendlines
Group with Todd and additionally serves as chairman of the Mofet Venture Accelerator.
Steve
earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from
Harvard University. He is a certified public accountant in the state of
Illinois.
Dr. Yair
Feld
Dr.
Feld practices medicine at Rambam Medical Center
and is founder of GeneGrafts, CorAssist
Cardiovascular and ProArc Medical.
Dr.
Feld holds M.D. and Ph.D. (Physiology and Biophysics) degrees from the Technion as well as a B.Sc. in physics from the
Tel-Aviv University.
Dr.
Feld has over ten years of experience in leading innovative research and
development projects, has published a number of articles in peer review
journals and has filed a number of issued patents and patent applications.
